No matter how old one is, regular physical bodily exercise can help achieve optimum physiological appeal. In fact, staying active can help one to:
1. Keep and improve strength so he or she can stay independent.
2. Have more energy to do the things in the desired way.
3. Improve balance.
4. Prevent or delay some diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
5. Perk mood and reduce depression.
One does not need to buy special clothes or belong to a gym to become more active. Physical activity can and should be part of everyday life as absence of regular exercise can have dire consequences on the health of humans in its entirety.
Consequently, the SUG Team brings to the notice of the University Community, a day keep fit exercise tagged “Uniuyo Keep-fit Day”. The exercise is scheduled as follows:
